Playing Balls
In Wizard Quidditch four balls are used. These are the Quaffle,
two Bludgers, and one tiny Golden Snitch.

Quaffle (1)
The Quaffle should be bright red in color and
about the size of a soccer ball.

A ball, such as the one shown in Figure 4,
which will serve adequately as a Quaffle can be
found at most any Muggle toy store. This one is
about ten inches in diameter.
Bludgers (2)
The Bludgers should be black in color and
made of soft rubber but firmly inflated. The
Bludgers should be slightly smaller than the
quaffle. Like the Quaffle, balls of adequate
size and color can be found at most any Muggle
toy store. If black balls cannot be found, then
dark blue or dark violet balls will make an acceptable
substitute. Figure 5 shows two deep purple balls found
at a local department store. These work quite well as
Bludgers for Muggle Quidditch.
