Penalties and Fouls  
Blagging
(See Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 29 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Holding another player so as to interfere with their playing. Holding a Chaser to prevent throwing or catching the Quaffle--free throw for the offended player. Holding the Seeker to prevent pursuit or catching of the Snitch--10 point lost to the opposing team, the offending player must sit out of the game for 5 minutes. The offending team is not allowed to send in a substitute for the lost player.

Blatching
(See   Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 29 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Colliding with another player with intent to knock them down. Loss of 2 to 10 points from the offending team depending on the severity of the offense. Referee's disgression. See also Cobbing and Slamming.

Blumphing
(See Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 29 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Called against a Beater for deliberately throwing a Bludger into the crowd or any other action which puts it out of play causing a halt to the game. Loss of 2 points from the offending team,

unless the penalty occurs when a Chaser is attempting a goal in which case the goal automatically counts.

Cobbing
(See Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 29 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Roughing the Chaser - Pushing, tripping, or hitting a Chaser from the opposing team the opposing team. Loss of 2 to 10 points from the offending team depending on the severity of the offense. Referee's disgression. See also Blatching and Slamming.

Flacking
(See Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 30 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Penalty against the Keeper for blocking an attempted goal from behind a hoop or knocking the Quaffle back through the hoop. Blocked goal automatically counts.

Haversacking
(See Whisp, Quidditch through the Ages, page 30 for Wizard Quidditch description.) Called against a Chaser for "slam-dunking" the Quaffle through a hoop. The Quaffle must be thrown through the hoop. Goal is disallowed. If the hoop is broken while Haversacking then offending team forfeits the game.
