Welcome new faculty.
Hogwarts would like to welcome it's newest faculty member. Dr. Richard Coleman, known as
"Rick" to his Muggle friends, will be joining the faculty. He comes to us from his position
as lecturer at the Muggle educational institute the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He
retired from that position at the end of 2019.
Professor Lionheart and Hagrid hit it off at once. Here they prepare to board the Hogwarts Express

Professor Lionheart is himself an alumnus of Hogwarts and attended while Professor Armando Dippit was head master.
He recalls with great admiration having classes under Professor Dumbledore before Professor Dumbledore was appointed as
the new head master after Professor Dippit's retirement.

Here he uses the Aural Display spell to introduce himself.
While teaching at Hogwarts Dr. Coleman will use his
magical name Lionheart and will be addressed by his students as Professor Lionheart.
He choose the magical name of Lionheart because his middle name is Leon which
means Lion.
He will be teaching two new courses at the request of Professor Dumbledore; Computational Magic
and Data Transfiguration. He will also assume the position of Head of the new Department of
Techo-magic here at Hogwarts in which students will learn how to apply magic to the latest in Muggle
technology.
When asked how he feels about coming back to Hogwarts as a teacher Professor Lionheart replied. "I have
had a good life working among the Muggles as, what they call, a Software Engineer and then as a professor
of Computer Science all the while having to keep hidden that I was actually using my wizarding skills
in Computational Magic to get done many of my assigned tasks. Now, teaching at Hogwarts it will be nice to,
as we of the Wizarding World like to say, come out of the broom closet.
