OUR CATS

My wife and I love cats. We currently have four. We planned on just having
three but we volunteered to foster a feral mother cat and her three newborn
kittens for Friends of Ferals. We were able to find a good home for one of the kittens.
The other three...well, we are now referred to as foster failures.

Paddy O'Kitty

We got him after a trip to Ireland, thus the name.

Pearl

Our only "little girl", and Mother
to the two boys below.

Steinbeck

We have very interesting conversations
and he loves to chase the laser beam on the floor.
Poe

He's our mystery cat.

Cats were once worshiped as gods. These have not forgotten this.

Below are some of our cats who now chase strings among
the clouds while waiting for us on the Rainbow Bridge.

Gabriel

We got him from Friends of Ferrals.
He was the first kitten my wife and I
got as a newly married couple. We lost him
March 2, 2022. We miss him greatly.
Brigit

Our first "little girl".
We lost her on June June 28, 2016.
She is very much missed

Trashcan

He was the alpha male, or so he thought.
When he was a kitten we thought, at first, he
was a female and he was named Miss Demeaner, but
someone misunderstood and thought we said "Trashcan"
and the name stuck.
Peekaa

Woz

In 1996 I adopted two cats who belonged to a very dear friend, Gary England, better known as the Boxdoode. Gary passed away during the Summer of '96. The cats were named Peekaa (pronounded like the letters "P" and "K") named for one of Gary's favorite professors in college, and Woz, named after Steve Wozniac, the inventor of the Apple II computer. Peekaa had the colorings and markings of a Main Coon cat while Woz was a Golden Point Siamese. Because of his coloring, Woz was often described as a "white kitty, who had been lightly toasted".
