In 1996 I adopted two cats who belonged to a very dear friend, Gary England, better known as the Boxdoode. Gary passed away during the Summer of '96. The cats were named Peekaa (pronounded like the letters "P" and "K") named for one of Gary's favorite professors in college, and Woz, named after Steve Wozniac, the inventor of the Apple II computer. Peekaa had the colorings and markings of a Main Coon cat while Woz was a Golden Point Siamese. Because of his coloring, Woz was often described as a "white kitty, who had been lightly toasted". |
