Today's Class

Each day in class you can refer to the Today's Class page for notes
and slides related to the current topic.

DO NOT PRINT THE TODAY'S CLASS PAGE ON THE LAB PRINTERS
If you try to print everything posted on that page for each class meeting you will probably exceed your allowed
printer quota in about two weeks and will be unable to print anything else for the remainder of the semester.

If you want copies of the slides you can do either of the following:

1. If you are using Google Chrome you can save the entire page of images as a PDF file:
  1. Right click the "Today's Class" link in the index on the left and select "Open link in new tab" from the pop-up menu. Switch to the tab where Today's Class is now displayed.
  2. Right click anywhere on the page (except on top of one of the images) and select "Print...".
  3. If you do not see "Save as PDF" just above the "Change..." button then click the button and select "Save as PDF" from the pop-up menu.
  4. Click the Save button. Use the save-file dialog box to save the PDF in the desired location with an appropriate name.
2. From any browser you can save the entire page of images as a Word .docx file. With the Today's Class page displayed in your browser do the following:
  1. Type Ctrl-A (Command-A on a Macintosh) to select the entire page.
  2. Type Ctrl-C (Command-C on a Macintosh) to copy the page.
  3. Open Microsoft Word and create a new document. Set the document orientation to landscape. It might also help formatting to set the top and bottom margins to 0.75.
  4. Type Ctrl-V (Command-V on a Macintosh) to paste all images into the Word document then save the document.
3. You can save images one at a time by doing this: (1) Right click each image, (2) In the popup menu select Save Picture As... (On a Macintosh select Save Image As...)

The slides will be changed the day of each class. It is your responsibility to download the slides before they are changed. If you forget to download the images from a class you must get them from someone else in the class. The instructor will not provide you copies because you "forgot". The slides will not be posted on Canvas.
