Olde-Time Country Dancing

• Dance Caller
• North Alabama Country Dance Society :A group of contradance and square dancers. We dance at Faith Presbyterian Church (Airport Road & Whitesburg Drive, click here for map) every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. We have a current newsletter.
• There's a USENET folkdance newsgroup.
• There's also a national Country Dance Society.

Music

• 12-string and 6-string acoustic soft rock and folk music. Have played at The Nook, 801 Franklin, House of Brews, etc.
• Occasionally perform at open mikes around town.

Cats

• Misha, grey tabby, with a really loud and obnoxious voice sometimes but he loves Lenny.
• Lenny, gray Siamese, who's very sweet and loves Misha.
• Previous cats:
  • Amelia, the fluffy princess, put to rest after 18 1/2 years in November 2000.
  • Albert, the one-eyed blind one, put to rest after 18 1/2 years in October 2000.
  • Elsie, the sweet (and wicked) black one, a nocturnal shadow. What else would you expect of a cat whose mother was named Fiendish? Lost after 7 years in April 2002.
  • Maggie, a sweet orange tabby, lost after 3 years in July 2004.
  • Alice, seal-point Siamese, with no tail. Adopted from the pound 2004,. Lost in Fall 2006..
