The department has several file servers, providing support to the networked Sun and PC labs within the department. Adequate time is available on the departmental machines, other campus computing resources, as well as the nearby State of Alabama owned high performance machines. The department also has a microcomputing laboratory used for instruction in logic design and computer architecture.
